The Chesterfield School District is seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. Your primary goal will be to maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe learning environment for our students, staff, and the visiting public. This is a great bridge from the private companies with crazy schedules and unexpected changes, we can offer a reliable role in a community where we value our employees.Key Responsibilities:Maintain clean, sanitary, and orderly school facilities (classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas).Ensure school grounds and entryways are safe, presentable, and free of hazards.Assist with minor maintenance tasks and setup/cleanup for school events.Follow safety, health, and environmental standards at all times.Qualifications & Requirements:Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with school staff.Pay Rate: $16.50-$16.80 with $2.00 differential for 3rd shift and room to progress.
