Custodian
Position Title: Custodian - Gym/Library Area
Location: John Trumbull Primary School
Position Reports To: Director of Facilities Building Administrator(s)

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Preferred Qualifications
Good communication skills
One (1) to three (3) years experience in custodial, general maintenance work and the knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning chemicals and tools used in such work
Essential Skills, Knowledge Performance Abilities
Requires full range of body motion, including reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing and walking
Must be able to lift/carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Requires standing for extended periods of time
Ability to operate motorized equipment
Manual dexterity
Responsible for the cleaning schedule assigned.
Provide light maintenance and repair services in their scheduled area
Provide trash collection and snow removal
Additional Duties
Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager, Group Leader and/or the Building Administrator
Terms of Employment
Per Custodial Contract - Local 1049 of Council #4
Work Schedule
Monday- Friday Hours - 5:00pm - 1:00am
