Job description
Building MaintenancePerform building and grounds maintenance and repair as assigned by the Head Custodian or building Principal.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCleaning building including mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, polish, and maintain floors.Help with summer building cleaning and maintenance.Building security after school and during evening events.Help with snow and ice removal.Minimum Requirements:Education-High School Diploma/GED preferred-Custodial experience preferredKnowledge-Stripping, waxing, and sealing floors-How to properly clean spacesSkills-Able to use cleaning, waxing, buffing, appliances and toolsPhysical Requirements-Heavy lifting up to 50lbs-Moving furniture-Sweeping and mopping-Climbing a ladder-Shoveling snowThe preceding job description provides information that is needed to define necessary elements of this job.
