Custodian I -60% -3rd Shift - Weekends - Downtown CampusThe University of Iowa Health Care Downtown Campus department of Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff. This position is scheduled to work second shift. Starting salary, $17.66/hour. Market Street, Iowa City, IA) is a 194-bed hospital that became part of Iowa's only comprehensive academic health system on Jan. 31, 2024.Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:General cleaningTrash removalStock supplies for cart and custodial areaClean and disinfect restrooms/ refill restroom suppliesDusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floorsCarpet cleaningUnit/bed makingWall & ceiling washingFurniture moves and room setupsUse various types of custodial equipment in performance of dutiesOther tasks and duties as assignedThis position is performed fully on campus.
