Custodian & Janitor (Part-Time Center of Hope)GA-RED Atl Red Shield Shelter - Atlanta, GA 30313Salary Range $11.00 - $11.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Job Shift Any Education Level N/A Category PropertyAbout This OpportunityThis position is responsible for:Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.Cleaning ResponsibilitiesCleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.Sweeps, vacuums, mops and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks.Cleans windows; dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.Cleans kitchen and dining area; washes dishes; cleans and defrosts refrigerator; cleans stoves and ovens.Stocks and sorts pantry items.Washes folds, and stores laundry and linens.Empties trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds.Maintenance ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up meeting rooms; sets-up tables and chairs; puts ice in glasses and sets out drinks.Assists in monitoring light fixtures to ensure all light bulbs are in working order; replaces light bulbs as necessary.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements; Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work; Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.Employee Benefits:Paid Time OffAflac BenefitsWhat We Are Looking For In YouEducation and Experience:No formal education or experience required.Six (6) months experience performing general housekeeping duties;Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Certifications : Valid State Driver's LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled
