After initial screening, additional documentation may be requested.POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for the custodial maintenance of assigned college buildings and facilities.Note: This is a full-time position.Employment is with Chattahoochee Technical College and not with an individual campus. All employees are subject to work relocation based on college needs.MAJOR DUTIES:Cleans restrooms, classrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, entranceways, and stairways.Cleans floors; sweeps, mops, dusts, waxes, and vacuums.Removes cobwebs from all surfacesCleans blinds and windowsills.Dusts furniture and fixtures.May change light bulbs for lamps, ACEXTERNAL BUILDING AND FRONT ENTRANCESPerforms lawn maintenance work as assigned.Assures Front Entrance are swept and dustedMaintains tools and equipment.SUPPLIES AND INVENTORYMaintains cleaning supply inventoryProcesses laundry, including cleaning rugs.OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDEInstalls or moves furniture.Locks doors and secures cleaning suppliesPromotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· No experience is requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.SALARY/BENEFITS: $33,404.64 annually. Benefits include paid holidays, annual leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
