Job description
Building CustodianThis position contributes to keeping the building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs and cleaning debris from sidewalks.Responsibilities:Support the CARE values of the organization.Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming themGather and empty trashService, clean, and supply restroomsFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixturesCheck electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not createdNotify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsOther duties as assigned.The information contained in this job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required in order to perform the work. The Custodian works under the immediate supervision of the Maintenance Manager.PPE:Safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety shoes are required. Other PPE may be required depending on the role.
