CustodianReports To: Director of MaintenanceDepartment/School: Custodial DepartmentWage/Hour Status: Non-ExemptPrimary Purpose: Follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience preferred; Must have the ability to read work orders, fill out requisitions, and communicate with other school personnel on duties to be performed; Must have abilities and capabilities to use equipment or supplies in a safe manner; Ability to handle cleaning supplies properly.Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and heavy lifting/carrying. Work outside and inside on slippery or uneven walking surfaces and ladders. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials.
