Custodian PositionWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Custodian. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in custodial services.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various facilities.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas.Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for events and meetings.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.Perform additional custodial duties as assigned by supervisors.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus.Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage is preferred.
