Custodian @ La PosadaWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian @ La Posada to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and associates. In this role, you will ensure community spaces are well-maintained and sanitary while delivering friendly, service-oriented support that enhances the overall resident experience. If you take pride in your work and enjoy contributing to a team-focused environment, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7am - 3:30pm Pay range: $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays Excellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K Free Meal each shiftWhat You'll DoClean and maintain community spaces including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, offices, elevators, and other common areasPerform floor care duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning, and polishingClean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, walls, ceilings, and woodworkEmpty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areasService and restock restrooms to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standardsAssist with cleaning resident apartments as neededSafely move furniture, equipment, and supplies as requiredSet up and break down spaces for community events and meetingsFollow proper procedures for use of cleaning chemicals and equipmentMaintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and safe mannerReport maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to the appropriate supervisorAssist residents with requests or direct them to the appropriate team memberMonitor residents' well-being in a general way and report any concerns promptlyWork collaboratively with team members across departmentsMaintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standardsSupport efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement effortsComply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulationsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredSix (6) months to one (1) year of custodial or janitorial experience preferredExperience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamPositive attitude and customer-service mindsetRequirementsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as neededOur Commitment to ExcellenceWe are guided by our Principles, Values, and Beliefs, creating a culture rooted in teamwork, respect, and exceptional service.
