You'll help ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for public use. Typical responsibilities include:Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, offices, locker rooms, and common areasSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors and surfacesEmptying trash and restocking suppliesTraveling between city facilities to perform custodial dutiesAssisting with minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs or paintingSupporting event setup and takedownMaintaining equipment and reporting any issues or safety concernsAssisting with pool maintenance and cleaning equipment at aquatic facilitiesEvery Custodian plays a vital role in creating a positive environment for the community.ScheduleThis Custodian position offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20–30 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.What You'll NeedTo succeed as a Custodian, you should bring:Minimum age of 16 (18+ preferred for driving duties)High school diploma or GED (preferred)A valid Utah driver's licenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPhysical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stay active throughout your shiftA strong work ethic and attention to detailPrevious custodial experience is helpful, but not required-what matters most is your reliability and willingness to learn.
