Custodian – Circle Academy Rossville Cunningham Children's HomeCunningham Children's Home is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn, heal, and grow. We are seeking a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment at Circle Academy Rossville.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm - 5pmPosition Summary: The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the school building according to established schedules and quality standards. This role supports a positive learning environment by ensuring all areas of the building are safe, sanitized, and well-maintained.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the school buildingComplete floor care projects, including carpet extraction, buffing, and stripping/waxingRestock and maintain cleaning suppliesUse custodial equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuumsFollow agency safety procedures and confidentiality standardsModel Cunningham's core values of spirituality, teamwork, integrity, and respectPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications:High school diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseKnowledge of cleaning practices and equipmentAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with staffAbility to lift and carry up to 44–60 lbs., bend, stoop, climb stairs, and walk distances as requiredMust pass required background checks and drug testingBenefits:Employee assistance programPaid time offReferral programRelocation assistanceIf you're seeking a meaningful role where your work supports a positive learning environment for young people, we encourage you to apply for the Custodian!
