Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.A self-starting individual who possesses a minimum of an eighth grade educationMust be able to read, write, and follow written instructionsExperience in janitorial or general custodial work may be substituted for the required education at the rate of one year of experience for each year of educationMust be skilled in the use of custodial materials and chemicals and in the operation of vacuum cleaners, buffers, wet and dry pick-ups, automatic scrubbers, and related custodial equipmentMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible workweek Monday through SaturdayBilingual in English and Spanish is desiredThis position reports to a location or department headThis position does not oversee other positionsAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function.
