If so, we'd love to hear from you!We're looking for a dedicated Custodian to join our team and help ensure our attraction remains spotless, safe, and ready to delight guests and team members alike. In this important role, you'll work behind the scenes and in public areas to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards while contributing to a world-class guest experience. The ideal candidate will be at 18 or older and will be able to meet the typical schedule with hours that can vary depending on business needs, and also include weekdays, weekends and holidays.What You'll Be DoingAs a Custodian, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility looking its best by:Maintaining cleanliness throughout guest-facing and backstage areasEmptying waste receptacles and ensuring proper disposal of trashCleaning doors, windows, walls, baseboards, fixtures, and other surfacesSafely cleaning and responding to spillsCleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restroomsIdentifying and reporting maintenance, repair, safety, or fire hazardsOperating custodial equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectivelyMaintaining organized and safe storage areasSupporting facility opening and closing activities as neededAssisting other departments when requiredContributing to a safe, positive, and team-focused work environmentPhysical RequirementsThis active role requires the ability to:Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the attraction during shiftsWork in environments with varying noise levelsUse custodial equipment and cleaning products safelyWear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Work with cleaning chemicals and other materials following established safety proceduresUtilize basic computer tools when necessaryQualifications & ExperienceWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking individuals who are:Passionate about cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfactionFriendly, positive, and team-orientedSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyStrong communicators with excellent listening skillsComfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentDependable and committed to high standardsPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferredExperience working in a customer-facing environment is a plusBenefitsBenefits of Joining Merlin Entertainments!Merlin Magic Pass: Free entry for friends and family to our amazing parks & attractions.
