Job description
Janitorial ServicesPerforms housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain assigned offices, restrooms, public areas and/or residence locations. Assist with general labor and minor repair tasks for University buildings and facilities.Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, showers, and locker rooms; collecting, laundering, and drying mop heads and cleaning rags; waxing and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets; maintaining clean and operating equipment; inspecting equipment and recommending repairs; restocking supply closets; completing work order requests during emergencies; reporting building discrepancies and damages; and using required safety and protective equipment.Educational requirements are not required, but on-the-job training is provided. Preferred qualifications include an undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field, customer service experience, and prior cleaning experience. The minimum hiring rate is $16.50, with offers based on relevant experience.
