Job description
Custodian PositionDaytime and evening custodians will work collaboratively to maintain the facility. While certain duties are designated for specific shifts, both custodians are expected to complete their individual task lists and support each other as a team to ensure all work is accomplished. Universal Precautions: Always treat blood and bodily fluids as infectious. Use a designated biohazard spill kit (fluid solidifier, gloves, eye protection) and a registered hospital-grade disinfectant for cleanup. Never use standard classroom mops/cloths for biohazards. (Sanitizing) Daily Cleaning: High-touch areas such as desks, doorknobs, handrails, and tables are typically sanitized as part of regular, daily cleaning routines. (Disinfecting) Targeted Germ Control: Disinfecting is generally reserved for specific situations, such as a known illness outbreak, following exposure to bodily fluids, or when health guidelines mandate a higher level of germ control.St. Cyril of Jerusalem School 4548 Haskell Ave Encino, CA 91436
