Job description
Custodial WorkerThe Custodial Worker is responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas of a property are kept clean and meet the company's established standard of care. Crawford Hoying is dedicated to exceptional customer service, and this employee is expected to use customer service as a guiding principle when interacting with residents, visitors, and coworkers, and when handling challenging situations.Job ResponsibilitiesClean designated areas as directed by the lead custodial workerVacuum carpeted areas in hallways and common areasMop and clean tile in common areasEmpty trash in designated areasClean glass surfaces, windows, and doors, as directedWipe and disinfect surfaces, as directedClean amenity areas with strict attention to detailClean resident rooms, as needed, including flooring, furniture, kitchens/kitchenettes, and bathroom tubs, showers, and toilet areasRestock disposables (soap, paper products, etc.)Promptly notify the Facilities Manager of any areas in need of immediate repairSafely dispose of cleaning solutionsComplete additional tasks during seasonal turnoverPerform related duties as assignedPreferred Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience1-3 years of housekeeping or janitorial experienceKnowledge of how to use cleaning equipment and cleansersA patient, confident, and courteous natureAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekendsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Custodial: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
