Custodian PositionDoverStaffing is currently seeking custodians for our client in the downtown Atlanta area. This assignment will last indefinitely and has the potential to become full-time based on performance, attendance, and client vacant positions.Work Shifts:1st Shift - 5:55 AM - 2:25 PM2nd Shift - 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM (Monday - Friday) / Pay Rate $14.00 hourlyDuties and Responsibilities:Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipmentClean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, store entrance areasEmpty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materialsClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipmentSpot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooingReplenish paper products and sanitary suppliesFollow housekeeping scheduleOccasionally use commercial cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums and buffers.Other duties as assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needs.Requirements:Janitorial or commercial cleaning: 2 years' experienceHigh School diploma or GEDMust be able to pass a background check.Must be able to establish daily work attendance record.This is a 40-hour work week assignment and not a part-time position.
