Job description
Custom Mig Welder / FabricatorPay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)We're looking for a MIG Welder/Fabricator with approximately 3+ years of fabrication shop experience. This is a hands-on role focused on custom fabrication and small-batch production —not repetitive production-line or structural steel welding.What You'll DoFabricate and MIG weld custom products using primarily 14-gauge steel.Cut, fit, assemble, and finish welded components.Use hand tools and fabrication equipment.Occasionally assist with trailer installations and field work.Qualifications3+ years of MIG welding/fabrication experience preferred.Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered if they have strong hands-on welding skills (including experience gained in a family shop) and professional shop experience.Ability to read measurements and fabricate quality parts.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Preferred (Not Required)Automotive repair experienceLaser cutting experienceForklift operationCAD experiencePhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift and position steel materials, use hand tools, climb ladders occasionally, weld underneath trailers when needed, and perform physical shop work safely.If you enjoy custom fabrication, take pride in quality workmanship, and want to continue growing your skills, we'd love to hear from you.
