Customer Account Manager
The Derek Stein Agency is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, service-minded Customer Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team in Wolverine Lake, Michigan.

We believe some of the best insurance professionals come from careers where communication, responsiveness, problem-solving, organization, and customer service are essential. That could include hospitality, mortgage or financial services, account management, banking, customer service, military service or even a recent college graduate ready to begin a professional career.
An active Michigan Property & Casualty License is preferred, but it is not required at the time of hire. Candidates without a current license must be willing and able to obtain their Michigan Property & Casualty License. We're looking for someone with the aptitude and motivation to learn about the industry, build strong client relationships, and grow with our agency.

Customer Account Manager Requirements:
• Commitment to study for and obtain a Michigan Property & Casualty License.
• Ability and willingness to learn personal insurance products, coverage options, and industry processes is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software applications.
Customer Account Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries.
• Quote and rate insurance policies accurately and efficiently.
• Partner with the sales team to support new business opportunities.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding service.
• Assess clients' evolving insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Contribute to client retention efforts by delivering a positive and professional customer experience.
