Customer Account Specialist, Gov't & Military DivisionSeal Dynamics (A HEICO Company) founded in 1976, with its corporate headquarters based in Hauppauge, NY is a world leader in technical sales and the distribution of aerospace components. Our OEM licensed PMAs and Test and Computation PMAs offer our customers viable solutions in the reduction of operational costs.Performs a wide variety of duties related to the administration of military customer accounts and government contracts according to established policies and procedures in order to ensure smooth flow of daily transactions. Upon completion of the probationary period, you have the option to join our 9/80 work schedule which gives our Team Members every other Friday off. This role reports to our Hauppauge, NY office.Duties & Responsibilities:Manages assigned accounts by serving as the main point of contact to help customers by, answering customer inquiries via phone or email, resolving any customer issues, and processing of customer estimates & orders.Performs Contract review on all customer orders for accuracyManage customer account information, including updating billing information, shipping instructions and any other necessary informationManages the setup of new accounts including export compliance screening and end user informationUtilizes INFOR Syteline ERP system for customer orders and estimate processingAnswers incoming phone calls in call loopMaintaining open order report and work to hit monthly numbersCoordinating all inquiries between Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Quality DepartmentPerform other related duties as assignedRequirementsKnowledge & Skills Required:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsTeam playerAbility to multitask & prioritize efficientlySense of urgencyExperience with ERP systemExperience & Education Required:Minimum of 1 year business to business customer service; HS Diploma or equivalent, College is a plus but not required; Aviation background a plus but not requiredPhysical Demands:Ability to sit and work at a computer most of the day in an office environment.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
