Job description

About Us

McorpCX have been pioneers in the customer experience (CX, EX and now XM) movement since 2002, and we are growing rapidly.

As you are no doubt aware, the CX market is undergoing explosive growth, and we are feeling that. The next 3 years will be the most exciting time in our (nearly) 20-year history. The time for CX is clearly now, especially as the world emerges from COVID and transforming customer expectations impact all businesses.

A US-based firm, McorpCX helps a growing and loyal client family—from Global 500 leaders to national and local commercial and non-profit organizations—improve their operating performance by improving customer (and employee) experiences.

McorpCX provides a broad range of services to all industries for clients who wish to better understand and evolve the quality and productivity of their customer experience, measuring, managing and improving customers' experiences using our proven playbooks and our partners’ proven and evolving technologies in both the B2B and B2C worlds.

With a team of the most experienced CX professionals in the world to deliver for you, globally recognized CX thought leaders and practitioners to align with, and relationships with most of the leading CX technology providers as our go-to market partners, McorpCX stands as a competitive place to work, grow, and thrive.

What We Are Seeking - Proven Solution Sales Professionals

To continue to expand our client base, we need additional proven Solution Sales Professionals to promote our services, cultivate relationships with potential clients, connect with new prospects and respond to our growing portfolio of inbound inquiries.

You will report to our VP - Market Development and work closely with our Practice Leaders, Solutions Architects and company leadership.

Ideally, we are looking for people who want to grow with us to “own” a market segment—maybe an industry specialty, maybe a region—either continuing to be a direct sales professional or building a team (or perhaps a blend of both).

We want to pay you well for great results. As a highly prestigious, relatively well-known boutique and mid-market growth company with aggressive goals over the next 3-5 years, we have no caps on your potential compensation. Capture a new logo, and we guarantee you will be compensated on revenue from that client for the first 2 years of our relationship.

About You

Ideally, you've sold business-to-business consulting and technology solutions before—preferably in CX or one of the related disciplines of CRM, Contact Center, Sales or Marketing Improvement.

You may have been in a consulting or services role for a number of years looking to move to a frontline sales role with the change in focus and potential for significant financial opportunity.

You have a “Giant Killer” mentality, thinking that a smaller, high-growth, widely respected company in a competitive market is the best place to be.

You have an exceptional track record of winning deals. You know how to uncover needs, solve business problems with a compelling case for your product solutions, overcome objections, identify decision makers, and win them over.

Working from home (our clients are all over), you love connecting with new prospects, infecting them with enthusiasm for your services, initiating long-lasting relationships while staying focused on the bottom line: closing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and respond to inbound inquiries

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and deliver status reports

Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements:

McorpCX provides those looking to work in the customer experience management field a great opportunity to develop expertise in the field with a company achieving high growth rates. 5+ years of sales experience

Experience in and passion for the CX industry

A successful deal history

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites & Microsoft Teams

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Outgoing and goal-oriented

An obsession with success

An agile, learning attitude

Flexible working hours (since our clients span North America and occasionally outside)

This is a virtual position. We're looking for long-term relationships. Please send us your resume and tell us why you believe you'd be a good fit for our team.
