Job description

Customer Operations CoordinatorThe Customer Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through final product delivery.Rather than working in a traditional call center environment, you'll coordinate complex customer orders, collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Shipping, and Sales teams, and ensure every order is accurate before entering into production.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer relationships with operational excellence while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.The ideal candidate:Enjoys solving problems and finding solutions.Takes ownership of customer issues until they're resolved.Thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment.Learns new systems quickly.Communicates professionally with both customers and internal teams.Works well independently while collaborating across departments.Enjoys balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications Required:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, professional training, and relevant work experience will also be considered.4+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Customer Operations, Customer Success, Account Coordination, Order Management, Customer Service (B2B), Sales Support, Manufacturing Customer Support, Client Services.Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems in a professional environment.Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Preferred:Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, medical device, electronics, or engineered products.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, Infor, etc.).Experience supporting customized or engineered-to-order products.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field preferred. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position involves sitting, talking and, hearing throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a step ladder or climb stairs as necessary.
