Job description
Customer Order AdministratorThe Customer Order Administrator is a support role for the Intertrade Sales Team. The Order Administrator is the principal customer contact for all sales orders and tertiary support functions for the sales team. The Customer Order Administrator performs a variety of simple to complex sales order entry and order administration support activities for the sales team. Assignments involve the understanding of, and the application of departmental procedures, standard work, Global Trade processes/requirements and workflow activities. The Customer Account Coordinator works to ensure that deliverables are shipped and invoiced as required by Intertrade and customer commitments. Primary responsibilities include:Creation and oversight of sales orders against established requirements.Facilitate & monitor exchange orders, warranty requests, credits, & purchase requests.Processing additional administrative tasks relating to sale/credit of material.Interact internally with sales, product line, repairs, finance, global trade and purchasing per the requirements of the position.Communicate with customers both internal and external to transactional resolution.Manage general sales support email inbox ensuring proper routing to sales support account owner.Manage general sales support email inbox ensuring orders are processed as received and customers' requests are completed.Ensure established Global Trade policies and requirements are adhered to for global exports.Ensure established DOC/DOS license requirements are adhered to for global exports.Participate in the creation and implementation of procedures and processes across all departments.Job Skills & Attributes:Cooperation - Recognizes that individual goals contribute toward accomplishing team outcomes.Customer Service Orientation - Generally applies fundamental service techniques and adheres to proper customer procedures when interacting with customers.Dependability - Demonstrates the ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures.Detail Orientation - Is able to provide the status of work assignments at any time and can quickly produce any documentation or information that is needed.Self-Development - Attempts to stay abreast of changes in the profession by participating in at least one development activity during the year.Multitask – can perform in a fast-paced environment and adequately handle interruption to normal workflow.
