Customer Order SpecialistThe Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnering with an established Ashland, Ohio organization seeking a Customer Order Specialist to join its team. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering $16 per hour, a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, and the opportunity to join a small, close-knit team with exceptional employee tenure. The Customer Order Specialist will focus primarily on entering and processing customer orders accurately within the company's ERP system. While there is some customer interaction by phone and email, this is not a traditional high-volume call center role. The majority of the position centers around order entry, order processing, maintaining account information, and helping ensure customer orders move smoothly through the system and into production.What You'll Do• Enter and process customer orders accurately within the company's ERP system • Review order information and help ensure orders move properly through the fulfillment and production process • Maintain accurate customer and account information • Respond to customer questions by phone and email as needed • Provide information related to products, pricing, availability, shipping, and order status • Follow up on orders when needed to help ensure timely shipment and delivery • Assist with invoices, paperwork, filing, and other general office responsibilities • Communicate with internal departments to help resolve order questions or customer concerns • Learn the company's products, procedures, pricing policies, and order-entry processWhat We're Looking ForThe company is open to a variety of backgrounds and is willing to train the right person. Experience working within an ERP or order-management system is a plus. The company currently uses Macola, but prior Macola experience is not required and training will be provided.
