Job TitleProvide customer service assisting students and families with financial aid inquiries by phone and in person.ResponsibilitiesGeneral office responsibilities:Greet and assist patrons that come into the officeAnswer phone callsMay be asked to provide support to operations team in addition to other projects as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be a UM-Flint student and be eligible for WORK-STUDY funding for Fall 2026.Customer service skills.Good communication skillsAbility to quickly learn how to use multiple software applicationsMust exhibit attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to follow instructionsMust be in good academic standingMultiple positions available depending on schedule. Consideration and interviews will begin immediately until office schedule is filled.Modes of WorkOnsite The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of MichiganPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment.
