We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team and contribute to our continued success. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer needs, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
* Generate and process quotes and sales orders with accuracy, and follow up on inquiries
* Assist customers with product selection, pricing, inventory availability, and lead times
* Maintain strong product knowledge to recommend appropriate solutions and cross-sell where appropriate
* Collaborate with outside sales, production, and shipping teams to ensure customer satisfaction
* Coordinate returns, credits, and replacements in a professional and timely manner
* Track sales trends, customer feedback, and follow up on open orders and backorders
* Handle customer service issues with professionalism and efficiency
* Maintain accurate records and sales activities in CRM and ERP systems
Qualifications:
* High school diploma, Associate degree a plus
* 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in a B2B environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude
* Detail-oriented and highly organized
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Experience with ERP or CRM systems
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence in handling inbound and outbound calls
* Team player with a proactive and positive approach
