Job description
Cutter/ArmorerOur customer in McHenry, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Cutter/Armorers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Cutter/Armorer, you will be responsible for sealing PPE seams, cutting patterns, pulling fabric onto the table, and inputting pattern numbers into the computer with attention to detail.Responsibilities of the Cutter/Armorer:Tape the seams of PPE equipment and use a heat machine to seal them.Cut patterns for sewing operators.Pull fabric from rolls onto the cutting table.Input pattern numbers into the computer for the cutting machine.Ensure accurate and precise cutting of patterns.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Cutter/Armorer Requirements and Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to input pattern numbers into the computer.Ability to lift between 50 to 75 lbs.Good work ethic and reliability.Willingness to work consistently every day.Experience as a Cutter/Armorer or similar role.Pay for Cutter/Armorer: Starting at $18/hour.
