Job description
CUTTER OPERATOR (USA)Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Location: Littleton, NHReport to: Production ForemanThe cutter operator will use the plasma machine to cut metal parts to Rotobec USA's specifications.Job ResponsibilitiesChoosing the correct material for the job according to the work orderSets up the machine and selects proper burning tipsCompletes work order paperwork/documentationLoad and unload sheets of steelCleans plasma cutter to Rotobec standardsRead, follow, and understand blueprintsSafely operate equipment, machinery, and overhead craneMeets or exceeds set production targets as directed by the supervisorKeep area, machines, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and clear of debrisPerform other duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisorRespect the required standards by Good Manufacturing PracticesWilling to cross-train as neededJob RequirementsTechnical degree in a related field or three or more years of comparable manufacturing experience deemed valid by the employerAbility to perform quality work in compliance with the required standards as demonstrated in previous employment/experienceAbility to read and understand blueprints, equipment drawings, schematics, and verbal instructionsPhysically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbsMust communicate well with others and have good organizational skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPaid health insuranceLife and disability insuranceVision and Dental available (optional)Paid vacation and holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)On-the-job Training and Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral ProgramCompany Events and team-building initiatives
