Job description
Cutter Machine OperatorEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet-up and adjust cutter machine in accordance with instructions and job requirementsSet-up automatic cutting programs manually into cutter machineOperate cutter machine and ancillary equipment to cut material into desired dimensionsEvaluate and make decisions concerning quality of product while cuttingReview job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specificationsKeep accurate press sheet information with dates and countsMonitor assigned machine during runs to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as neededPerform routine maintenance, such as blade replacement, lubrication, and waxingNotify supervision of mechanical/electrical problems and complete "Work Orders" for parts/repairs that require maintenance assistancePrepare load flags on each outgoing load showing the next operation or destinationAll other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
