As a CVOR Registered Nurse, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Shifts: Several options available. 6am-4pm, 730am-530pm, 6am-2pm or 730am-330pm
Call: 8 call shifts and one weekend every 6 weeks . Must be within 30 min. to facility if called back in.
Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
What qualifications you will need:
Required Experience: 1+ years of CVOR/OR experience
Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing.
Preferred Education: Master's in Nursing.
Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty
Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
Required Certification: BLS and ACLS
