Job description
Overview: Join Lake County’s premier tertiary surgical powerhouse. Under the direction of the leadership team, the Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) utilizes the nursing process to facilitate comprehensive patient care. In this role, you will perform nursing assessments, formulate and implement evidence-based care plans, and collaborate with a world-class team in our high-volume, 12-OR suite .
Our 330-bed campus is home to one of Florida’s largest open-heart programs and an advanced da Vinci Xi robotic hub handling thousands of complex surgeries annually.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to make accurate nursing assessments, diagnoses, and formulated care plans.
Implement and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Circulate and scrub complex surgical cases, ensuring standard-of-care perioperative practices.
Maintain agile readiness for after-hours and weekend emergency surgical cases via the scheduled on-call rotation.
Qualifications: Education & Experience
Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
Experience: 1 year of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) or Critical Care experience is preferred.
Preferred Specialties: Prior Circulating and CVOR RN experience is highly preferred.
Licensure & Certifications
Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License (or valid Compact multi-state license).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
