Job description
Design, implement, and managenetwork and cybersecurity architectures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation of systems and data.
Conductsecurity risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses of policies, standards, procedures, and technical environments.
Evaluate existing and proposed systems to determinesecurity requirements and controls based on operational needs.
Applydefense-in-depth principles and network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, and infrastructure components.
Identify and assesscritical infrastructure systems and legacy environments that were designed without adequate security considerations.
Analyze how changes in systems, operations, or environments impactsecurity posture, resilience, and dependability .
Ensure compliance withstate and federal statutes, regulations, and standards related to information security and computer crime.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders totranslate complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
Develop and presentsecurity documentation, reports, and recommendations to leadership and technical teams.
Support incident response planning, vulnerability management, and continuous security improvement initiatives.
