Job description
Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Contract: 12 month
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Pay: 55$ - 63$ an hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to help protect enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and business-critical systems. This individual will work cross-functionally with infrastructure, networking, and application teams to identify security risks, implement controls, and respond to security incidents.
Responsibilities
Monitor and improve enterprise security posture
Configure and maintain security tools and technologies
Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation
Investigate security alerts and incidents
Assist with IAM and access management
Support compliance initiatives and security audits
Recommend improvements to security architecture
Qualifications
3+ years of cybersecurity experience
Experience with Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar
Knowledge of Azure or AWS security
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
Understanding of NIST or CIS frameworks
Security certifications are a plus (Security+, CISSP, AZ-500)
