Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Cytologist to work full time days in the Cytology Lab.

Overview:
Job responsibility is to perform cytological technical preparations of specimens and evaluates gynecology and non-gynecologic specimens for the presence of cancer or other pathological changes in compliance with departmental policy and procedure.
Education:
Bachelor’s level degree
Certification/Licensure:
ASCP-CT (required)
Experience:
ThinPrep
Pap Proficiency within the last year

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.60 - $66.37 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
