Job description
Albany Med Health System in Albany, NY seeks a Cytotechnician I & II to receive and process cytological specimens for testing that aid in detection and diagnosis. The role is performed under NYSED-licensed supervision and the director’s general supervision.
Key duties include testing, reporting results, thorough documentation, use of computer systems, following diagnostic guidelines, training new staff, and ensuring proper specimen handling and QC.
