A leading healthcare organization in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to join its laboratory team.
Position Highlights Full-time opportunity
Day shift schedule
Work in a clinical laboratory setting
Perform cytology screening and evaluation of patient specimens
Experience with both gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology
Review and evaluate cytology specimens for abnormalities
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory procedures
Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory professionals
Work in a team-focused environment committed to accurate and timely patient results
What We're Looking For 3+ years of Cytotechnology experience required
Experience with both GYN and non-GYN cytology required
Strong knowledge of cytology procedures, specimen preparation, and screening
Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormal findings
Strong understanding of laboratory quality standards and patient safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the laboratory and pathology team
