Job description
University Hospital, Newark, is seeking a Cytotechnologist responsible for accurate evaluation of cytology samples (GYN and non-GYN) and supporting on-site FNA procedures. You will manage specimen processing, reporting, and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations.
The role requires a CA AHEP-accredited cytotechnology program and eligibility to sit for the ASCP CT exam within 6 months, with certification within 1 year of employment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
