River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

In this role you will: Provides services in a behavioral health program.
Plans, develops, implements, and administers services and programs for clients.
Supervises work of assigned staff if applicable.
Acts as client advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
Develops and implements treatment plans; provides behavioral health assessments; directs treatment staff in evaluating, planning treatments, and delivering therapeutic services.
May counsel clients in individual and/or group sessions in order to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life.
Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience): Master's degree in behavioral health or a related field with a license to practice as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
Completes/maintains continuing education requirements. Examples include CPI, CPR/FA/AED, Essential Learning, and others as required.
Good interpersonal skills. Has the ability to observe, record, and report deviations in patient's conditions.
Good communications skills, both from an interpersonal standpoint and the ability to write/produce written reports/documentations as needed to insure good patient care.
Good confidentiality skills - both demonstrating and understanding the importance of a patient's bill of rights.
