BFD Operations Coordinator: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full TimeStarting Pay Rate: $21.50 2nd Shift Differential: $1.50Description: The Operations Coordinator is expected to understand, engage, and assist the Production Supervisor in leading production activities for their shift, including all lines pertaining to the Operations area. The operations coordinator oversees the Production process to ensure human safety, product safety, product quality, sanitation, efficiency, and environmental compliance.Daily Responsibilities:Conduct physical walk-thru of line with oncoming Operations CoordinatorEnsure proper staffing to production modelEnsure daily communication with employees at shift Crossover meetingsProvide consistent leadership presence on floorComplete Daily Check SheetComplete assigned investigations and projects - As NeededRequired Skills:Must possess the ability to oversee multiple areas of responsibility including people and processes.Have ability to function in multiple positionsMust possess the ability and aptitude to identify, correct and improve potential safety items, both human and foodRequired Experience:Must have High School diploma or GEDUnderstand manufacturing guidelines for food safety and sanitationExperience with set-up and operation of automated batch processing systemExperience with set-up and operation of packaging machineryBama is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
