Job description

We’re seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects across data center environments, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams, keeping complex projects on track, and supporting critical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects from planning through execution and closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans Coordinate with facilities, infrastructure, network, and external vendor teams to support successful project outcomes Manage project activities related to design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning Track progress, identify issues, and help drive resolutions to keep projects on time and within budget Support safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle of each project Contribute to capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiatives Travel to other locations within the DFW area as needed to support project needs

Skills

At least 5 years of project management experience in data center or infrastructure environments Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking Experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects Ability to work independently while staying highly organized and detail-oriented Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to align project tasks and technical solutions with business requirements Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Project, and Visio Willingness and ability to travel to other facilities as needed

Preferred Skills

Prior experience supporting Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementations Background supporting infrastructure planning or operational improvement initiatives Experience working across multiple teams and priorities in a fast-moving environment Strong initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
