Position Details
Contract position
Onsite, Monday-Friday, 1st shift hours
40 hours per week
6 month contract with strong possibility of extension
$55/hour
Target start date: ASAP
Position Overview
Seeking intermediate-level Data Center Rack & Stack Engineer to support day-to-day operations for a large retail client within an enterprise data center environment. This role is focused on hands-on execution and physical infrastructure support rather than senior-level architecture or engineering responsibilities. Very busy position!
Responsibilities
Install, remove, and rack servers and related hardware
Mount rails, brackets, and supporting equipment
Perform structured cabling, patching, labeling, and cable management
Validate power connections and connectivity
Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
Manage inventory, equipment staging, and asset handling
Provide general physical data center support and operational assistance
Qualifications
