Data Center Sales EngineerCan be based out of any of the locations: Austin, TX / Houston, TX / Charlotte, NC / Phoenix, AZ / (San Francisco/Seattle/Portland) / (DC/Baltimore) / Chicago, IL / DC/Baltimore / Columbus, OH / Atlanta GA / LouisianaClient is looking for a Data Center Sales Engineer to join their safety conscious team! The Sales Engineer has direct responsibility for profitable revenue growth throughout the designated areas of coverage. Industrial Services experience with Data Centers and Industrial water is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesEnsures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all timesWorks with Management in formulating, developing and implementing market strategies, market penetration and business goals and objectivesLeverage industry and company knowledge to propose, negotiate, close profitable revenue opportunities, and create long-term customer relationshipsAnalyze customer requirements and market drivers to deliver well-aligned products and services at optimal pricingResponsible for the account ownership and designated revenue responsibility in assigned accountsMaintain company/contact information and document all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunitiesAssist with significant job scopes and customer appointments as necessaryCollaborate with local Sales and Operations, Facility Operations, and Vertical Sales to grow revenueCustomer Support. Promote communication and coordination between sales, operations, customer service, and customersManage and control sales expenses and ensure the timely submission of business expensesQualificationsHigh School Diploma Required; Bachelor's (Engineering) preferred3-5 years relevant experience; sales experience requiredExperience selling to Data Center and/or General Contractor preferredIndustry and company knowledge, selling and negotiation, relationship buildingCommunication, accountability for completing job responsibilities/objectivesAbility and experience developing relationships within the customer networkAbility to travel up to 50%Ability to work remotely
