Position Overview
Position Summary:
Under limited supervision, the data clerk will input, maintain, and ensure accuracy of data and documents using various software programs.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Input data into the system, including transfer transcript data, articulation data, and catalog data
Verify admissions records
Regular and predictable attendance required
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate and a minimum of six months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in higher education
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Skill in the use of standard office equipment, including computer keyboard, calculator, and computer programs
Ability to work independently with strict attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
Ability to understand and follow established procedures and regulations
Working Conditions
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary in nature and at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
