Description:
Manage data engineering projects through the full development and delivery lifecycle.
Identify and support business initiatives from a data engineering perspective.
Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems.
Develop, implement, automate, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL processes.
Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof-of-concepts.
Evaluate and maintain data solutions against business requirements and engineering standards.
Collaborate with data architects, data modelers, and IT teams to deliver project goals.
Participate in internal practice meetings, thought leadership, case studies, learning materials, networking events, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related technical field.
Strong experience with Python, data engineering, and ETL processes.
Experience supporting operational data work and workflows.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft SharePoint experience.
Experience with model evaluation and model measurement pipelines preferred.
Experience at Meta and certifications such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI preferred.
Must work remotely in the PST timezone; direct W2 candidates only, with no sponsorship available.
