Hiring: Senior Data Engineer US Citizens Only
Location: Richmond, VA (within 50 miles preferred)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Alternating schedule
Week 1: 5 days onsite in Richmond
Week 2: Remote
This schedule repeats throughout the assignment.
Duration: 12 Months (Potential Extension)

Required Technical Skills
5 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
Advanced SQL and Python.
Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, or enterprise data warehouse platforms.
Data pipeline architecture and development.
ELT/ETL platforms such as dbt, Talend, or Informatica.
Data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
Apache Kafka, Spark, or streaming technologies.
Data virtualization tools such as Denodo, Dremio, or Starburst.
DataOps, CI/CD, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines.
Build batch, incremental and streaming data processing solutions.
Implement data quality, validation and reconciliation processes.
Improve pipeline performance, reliability and scalability.
Support data governance, lineage, auditability and security.
Monitor production pipelines and resolve data-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in utilities, energy or large-scale commercial environments.
AWS, Azure or GCP.
AI/ML data pipelines.
Kafka Connect, Spark Streaming or Flink.
Important
Candidates must be within commuting distance of Richmond, VA and comfortable with the alternating onsite/remote schedule. No relocation or per diem assistance is provided.
