Job description
Cambay Consulting Business Intelligence Consulting Services comprise low-risk, high-impact, short-cycle diagnostic and assessment studies that facilitate the execution of a client organization's BI/DW initiative at its various lifecycle stages. The Business Intelligence Solutions practice helps clients articulate problem definition and then propose alternate solutions and best practices, and recommend an implementation plan. The deliverables enable clients to take quick and well-informed decisions for the success of the BI/DW initiative.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services
SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services
SSAS - SQL Server Analysis Services
Oracle 10g RAC
SAP Crystal Reports
SAP Business Objects
SAP Crystal Reports Dashboard
Job Description
Title: Data Modeler
Location: Reston, VA
Key Job Functions
Translate the business and data requirements into logical data model.
Conform with modeling process and procedures.
Ability to clearly walk thru the model with design/architecture/delivery teams.
Deliver data models, data dictionaries, data maps, and other data modeling artifacts per established project plans.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Minimum of five years’ hands‑on experience in data modeling.
Expertise in relational and dimensional modeling in OLTP and Data Warehousing environment.
Expertise with data management standards and data model practices.
Strong analytical skills with a problem‑solving approach capable of managing multiple priorities.
Work effectively with multifunctional teams and ability to build good working relationships.
Experience with ER Studio, ERWin modeling tools and ER/Studio Repository or ERWin Model Mart.
Experience in database development, design, and best practices.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts.
Desired Knowledge and Skills
Prior mortgage experience.
Schema‑On‑Read modeling (Hadoop/Hive) & Redshift physical modeling experience preferred.
