Job description
Immediate need for a talented Data Risk Manager. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Richmond, VA(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
PR Range: $60-65/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Data Risk Manager to support a large-scale business and technology integration by assessing data risk across operational and analytical data flows, third-party integrations, data mitigations, and downstream consumption.
The role will partner with business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders to understand evolving data architecture, identify new or changing data risks, evaluate the sufficiency of data management controls and validation activities, and support development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Strong background in data management, data risk, data governance, or technology risk.
Experience with data migrations/conversions
Knowledge of data governance and control concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with experience translating data concepts into risk assessments and/or executive summaries
