Job description
As Data Scientist, you’ll work as part of an agile scrum team toward the development and delivery of a new modernized IT product. You will apply methods and tools to inform management's data-driven decision‑making in support of system features, illumination of user behaviors, and delivery system performance metrics.

What you’ll do:
You will work as part of an agile scrum team in order to support the delivery of a modernized IT system. Collaborating with project managers, technical leads, developers, Business Analysts, and UX specialists
You will apply data science methods to develop new features, track user behavior, and monitor performance metrics.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability
You have experience performing as a data analyst or data scientist in support of the development of a new modernized IT system
You have experience applying data mining techniques to synthesize and analyze structured and unstructured data
You have experience building high quality prediction systems integrated with products.
You have applied machine learning techniques to automate scoring
You have applied data models to provide insights to clients and product owners and build recommendation systems
You have the ability to develop and apply organization‑wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and data warehouses
You have experience using tools including databricks, open‑source large language models, ChatGPT, and Google Analytics in order to inform design decisions for systems
