Job description
Looking for a Java developer with a strong foundation in Core Java, including object-oriented design, multithreading, concurrency, and JVM memory management. Candidates should have hands-on experience building and maintaining applications using the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring and Spring Data JPA.
The role requires familiarity with the tools commonly used throughout a modern Java development lifecycle, including Maven or Gradle for builds, Git for source control, Jenkins for CI/CD, and development environments such as Eclipse. Experience developing and supporting applications backed by Oracle databases and deployed through Apache Tomcat is also important.
Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux environments and have practical experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based application deployments. The ability to troubleshoot applications across the full stack—from application code and databases to build pipelines and runtime environments—is valuable for this role.
Experience with Spring Boot and developing REST APIs in Java for web applications is preferred.
